Post of the Day...

I would like to propose this as a feature of the site.
Many times I find myself, and others, making the comment
that they would nominate a certain post as the post of the day.
I think this would be a great feature as sometimes it would be a witty remark, a sarcastic comment,
or a really good gambling story or explanation of a question....

I like the idea but daily might be too frequent. On Green Chip they do "Post of the Month" and the winner actually gets a hundred bucks from Stanford Wong...then again he charges to be a member of that forum :).

Post of the Month might cast too wide a net, but again per-day might be a bit tough. I propose a "post of the week" as a compromise.

It could be made into an actual feature which would require work from JB, or it could just be a daily/weekly/whenever-ly thread that someone (admin?) starts.

The decision for this of course lies with the Wizard. My opinion is that if we implement something like this, I think a week would be too short and a month too long, so I propose the mysteriously cool-sounding “Post of the Fortnight.”
