I wanted to introduce myself and thank everyone for this wonderful site.
My name is Tim and I am a rank amature but have been reading everything on the site for a few months now. I feel as though i have some new friends.
As a way of tha king you for all your hard work, i purchased the new iphone app and even left a good review.
The hot blond challange thread is the most online fun I have had in a long time. So much drama at every turn, i cant wait to see how it works out.

Reading about the wizard's experience at the Venetian., i can really empathize. I have had some difficult defeats in the recent past, it can really hurt but the new doors that open will be so much better. Thank you for sharing the human side of things.

I really enjoyed seeing Fr Gamble's blogs, who would have thought I could have a little old time religion while I try to learn about gambling. The discussions mostly seem inteligent and respectful; allowing for all points of view.

I will be on a working trip to Vegas for the next two weeks, staying at Southpoint.
I hope to practice on the VP machines there. My bank roll is 120.00 and i hope to earn dinner money. Lol
I also may place a bet or two on the Gators and Tim Teebow.
Wish me Luck!!

OK, good luck !

A couple of things I have found helpful over the
years:

a) There are lots of good books on gambling out
there, but probably just as many bad ones.

For a quick way to learn a lot, I recommend the
American Casino Guide. The short articles in the
front of the book give a good, myth-busting
explanation of a lot of the games.

And the coupons that make up most of the
the book can save a few bucks here and
there as well.

b) Use the practice VP game on the Wizard's
other site, www.WIZARDOFODDS.com.

The neat thing with that is it tells you when
you make a big, medium, or minor mistake
vs perfect strategy.
There's emptiness behind their eyes There's dust in all their hearts They just want to steal us all and take us all apart
