Signed up for a players card this past weekend that had a slot loss rebate of $500 for new card holders for slot play within the first 24 hours.

Do these types of rebates refer to NET slot losses from ALL machines played during that period? So if I inserted $150 in a particular machine and lost the whole thing, but then later put $10 in a different machine and won $50 I would only get a rebate for the net loss of $100? Or if I won $300 from the $10 then I wouldn't be eligible for any rebate at all?

Is that the way these things work?
You serious, Clark?

Yes, it's net for all the casino's I've seen it at.

One piece of advice. Do not do any rebate where it is not same day. I am having an argument with Ceasars/total rewards over my new membership rebate and of course, I expect they will not honor the rebate they owe me. I am waiting for their response but the person I spoke to over the phone was so cold about it, I'm not hopeful of winning.

Rebates you get later in the mail are pretty much rip-offs. I am not the only person to see these complaints. When I googled, I found quite a few people had been swindled. Beats me why casino's would go out of their way to attract new members only to alienate them with the self-same offer. Like a couple of hundred buck from one days play will keep them afloat but they are pretty desperate(at least in AC where I was swindled.)
