Compton California Going Bankrupt? Again!?!

Drudge has a headline this morning that Compton, CA, will most likely be declaring bankrupcy shortly. This makes it the 4th city in a couple of weeks here in CA to do so. Laugh at your own peril, as I am afraid that many cities in other states may not be far behind. A couple of interesting facts about Compton CA:
1) Former President George W Bush once called Compton home.
2) In California we have these casinos that offer only poker and player banked versions of BJ, baccarat, etc. There is a cardroom in Compton called the Crystal Casino that, according to Alan Mendelson, declared bankrupcy several years ago. Aparently at one point they had to just announce to players that there chips were now worthless. I could not find confirmation of this on the web but I certainly trust Alan. Read some online reviews of the hotel attached to the casino. It was the first time I had ever heard of someone being given a room that had spraypaint graffiti of gang signs on the walls. In fairness, I have stayed there and felt the room was below average, but not disgusting.
3) Since the games at the casino are player banked, most games require a $1 fee for the privelege of playing a hand. The best game to play is EZ Baccarat in midi format for $25 or more a hand where the house waives the fee. Believe it or not, they actually offer a Pai Gow game as well as Pai Gow Poker.
4) While the city has a reputation of being a primarily black community (and in the past this may have been true), According to the 2010 census, the city is just 32.9 black, and 65% hispanic.
edit: The headline suggests that Compton has been bankrupt before. The headline on drudge was "AGAIN: Compton CA may declare bankrupcy by September". I have not seen any references to Compton having been BK before so it was likely just a reference to the reports of various cities in CA being insolvent.
