You need to take some Econ classes. Too high a tax rate raises no revenue. The government is as hooked on cigarettes as a three pack a day Pall Mall smoker.

Around here smokers just go to the nearest Indian Reservation and buy a case at a time tax free.

I had Maris and Mantle and Willie Mays at one time
and of course, like so many my Moms threw them away - thought they were junk
the 2 boxes I had were surely worth thousands now
a Mickey Mantle 1952 rookie card sold for $12.6 million but the other years are only worth a few hundred I think

I think you'd be hard pressed to find a nice Mantle card for under a thousand, especially a certified one. There are a lot of fake Mantles out there so buyer beware.
