Thank you for the compliment, CrapsForever. I've read many of your posts, and coming from you, such a compliment is gold.

Yes. And they do not charge for using an ATM for the first 10 transactions per month. I'm not sure what the fee is per transaction after that. I've used an ATM maybe 3 times in the past 5 years, so I don't really pay attention to the fine print on that. However, I recently opened this account because my previous bank decided to start charging $8 per month to have an account. Because of the transition process, I knew I would have to use the ATM at least once before my new batch of checks would come in, so I wondered about the fees, and that's when I discovered their fairly nice features.

I don't have any credit cards but I have two debit cards, one Bank of America and one local bank. Conveniently, the local bank has an ATM at the casino that I frequent so I can just take out cash there upon arrival with no fee. Bank of America is on my college campus, though there is talk of them charging a $5 fee per month in the future. My local bank doesn't have any locations in Boston which is a pain, so I'm not sure what I will do if BofA starts charging that fee. Both my part time job during school and my internship use direct deposit so I constantly have to use an ATM as I like to carry some cash/ have to purchase train passes for the commute to work with cash only.

It's one of the hardest things not to go on tilt. Even the most experienced gamblers do it. I still do it way too much (but not as much as I used to). Sometimes you just have to take your losses, as hard as it may be. One thing I would recommend is not going to the casino alone. Go with someone else and put yourself in their control (or at least their suggestion). It forces you to live outside yourself for a bit, and realize what you are doing.

I haven't looked through this thread to see if I already commented...
But I'll add..
That's one of the hardest things to do...NOT chase a loss.
Happened to me this past weekend...I originally took a $500 stake what I "could" lose...well, I lost that playing $ vP (Not a quad AT ALL!)
So I got mad that I didn't hit A QUAD, and I took out another $500 (I have Chase, so they'll let me take $1000 per day out of the ATM)
First $100 in, BOOM, Quad +$125, OK, cashed it out
Second $100 in, BOOM, Quad +$200, cashed IT out
Third $100 in, BOOM, Quad for +$125,
At this point, I FLED high limit with only a $50 loss...This was friday night (I got there thursday night)
Let me just say, between Saturday morning and sunday evening, I went on full tilt to not only lose THAT $450 back, PLUS the second $500, PLUUUS an additional $1000 (chasing the FIRST $1000)
Needless to say, I'm angry at myself for losing my entire monthly bankroll in ONE DAY (and not even on a 3x points day!!)
