Having caught up on a couple of threads I saw something in the Jerry Logan discussion that made me curious. MKL made a comment about posting 1,000 times a day if he wished to...as he is already the top contributor I was curious, though not terribly interested, to see how that would affect the overall readership.

Bear in mind that 1,000 posts a day would be a challenge. For some reason, I think if dared, MKL would be up to the challenge.

If it was 1,000 posts a day, EVERY DAY, I'd be outta here!

Until then, I'll just sit here at number two...

I think MKL is doing a great job self-editing his posts. They seem to be more on point than off, and for the most part add to the threads. If it was 1,000 posts at 50 lines each, it would be a different story.

I would maintain my same level. I have discovered how to block people, and it works really well. It shows up that he has said something but it is blocked. Sometimes I open it and read it, most times I don't. I suggest that everyone use this feature if there is someone that annoys you.

It's not how much he posts, it's how ready he is to insult, offend, irritate and aggravate everyone; and how hurt he seems to be when people dish back at him. Also the depths of his egotism and condescension know no bottom. See how often he makes the point to say things like "You're angry at X, not at me," You're displacing your anger in my direction," etc, etc.

I'm curious, though probably not terribly interested, to know what you consider the difference between curious and interested to be.

I've been accused on this forum of being the Antichrist, George W. Bush, a serial killer, the embodiment of evil, Jerry Logan(esque), and the worst person to inhabit the earth since Stalin, Hitler and Pol Pot. But I rarely get crapped on because I'm a prolific poster---and it has never occured to me to tell anyone else that they post "too much", or to criticize them for doing so.

SOMEBODY had to step into JerryLogan's shoes as "the self-designated number one mkl hater."

And in Nareed's case, I think his hatred for me is very, very much displaced from some other source, since he actually has no valid or rational reason to hate me. I don't hate him--I don't KNOW him well enough to do so (though I certainly acknowledge the possibility that if I DID get to know him, I might easily learn to hate him; probably a good thing that such an opportunity will never present itself).

It is a comment like this that reaffirms that it is worth keeping mkl!

I wouldn't have a problem if the guy posted 2000 times a day. After the first thousand there'd be no need to correct and expose his faults and mis-statements. It's a good bet he'd be humiliating himself at that point on.

Same old Jerry. Same old Jerryspew.

This isn't going to make anyone buy any more of your books, Mr. Singer.

You mean he doesn't post a thousand times a day now? I would have sworn its more than a thousand.
