All right Folks I got an interesting offer from the Wynn/Encore to enter a Porsche giveaway contest. Here is the structure:
-- I must register my Red Card for the draw
-- To qualify, I must amass 5,000 Red Card point between May 4th and June 6th
-- Every 1,000 points gets me a ticket in the draw
-- Double points every Tuesday
-- Triple points on June 6th
Here is the prize structure:
Grand prize Porsche 911 Carerrera Cabriolet $116,000
2nd prize Porsche Cayenne Tiptronic $71,000
3rd prize Porsche Boxster $63,000
FREECredit Bonus Draw:
1st prize $45,000 in FREECredit
2nd prize $25,000 in FREECredit
3rd prize $15,000 in FREECredit
4th prize $10,000 in FREECredit
5th prize $5,000 in FREECredit
The prize structure is based on 175 participants. I'm not sure if the first 5,000 points qualifies as 5 tickets. Assume it does.
According to vpfree2.com it's 1 point for $15 coin-in on 9/6 JoB and 1 point for $6 on lower playing video poker.
My question to the board is what is this worth? Assume I'm attacking this with video poker? How much would I have to play? What kind of bankroll would I need?
There is almost no chance that I'll take advantage of this offer, but I am curious as to what kind of value people see in this offer.

I would probably show up on the 6th and play a few hundred thousand coin in on something. It's probably worth somewhere in the .1 to 1% range. I would find a contact that could give me a better idea. I also discount all drawings because of tax, variance, and possible rigging. In my experience you will have guys that play 2m coin in on the month and the lower players will play 100k ish.l

Thanks for the data tongni. Wow I didn't realize people would have $2 million coin-in for this kind of thing. I doubt I can muster a bankroll to qualify for the 5,000 points let alone reach the $100,000 coin-in lower limit of other players. 8-)
