Won't be back there for awhile. I went to the north. I could see the stratosphere. Someone gave an address cuz it wasn't in my GPS. Is this place tiny? Seemed to have a game worth hitting based on the Wiz's blackjack survey, but if it's too tiny I'd be bounced in shorter time than it took to drive there.

Jerry's Nugget is real close by if you ever go to the Silver Nugget.

Yes. I was on my way to JN one day but coming from the other side. I saw silver nug, so I stopped by. It was pretty scary in there.
The only casino scarier than Silver Nugget....is the Isle of Capri in Missouri: in the parking garage, someone next to me rolled down their window and asked to borrow my lighter. He continued to smoke meth (or perhaps crack) in his car next to me. He was a really nice guy, so at least there was that. But inside the casino -- damn scary. It literally felt like I was a fish out of water, walking through the projects. Reminds me of the scene, in Prison Break where they're at that super sketchy prison in South America:

That's the same address I put into my GPS. I didn't see it. So I'm guessing it is tiny...based on the fact that I didn't visually notice it, and the fact it is apparantly 'scary'. I went to jerry's nugget and didn't play. One bj table and it was full. If it's like that, not worth the time to make the trip.

Yeah, I've been avoiding that casino for decades (in MO). Feels creepy and unsafe, always have.
Here's a Google Street View.

I believe their min/max is $3-$50 and $5-$50. I haven't been there in a couple years though.

You might also consider the Las Vegas casino that I described in this thread. For emphasis, in addition to my description just check pacomartin's comments in the third post of the thread.

Taxing my feeble memory cells now, but when I was last there in 2013, I 'think' the Isle of Capri is now a Golden Nugget casino. I never set foot in the casino, but I was sitting on the Hopper trolley when it stopped there a few times.
I don't have a record of there being a Golden Nugget casino in Missouri -- sure you're not thinking of the one in Biloxi, MS?
Quote: DocGuess I'm a little confused on just which casino, too. I have been to, gambled in, and collected souvenir chips at the Isle casino in Cape Girardeau, the Isle of Capri in Boonville, and the Isle of Capri in Kansas City. My wife and I spent the night in the hotel at the Boonville casino.

Of course I was. Missouri , Mississippi? They're close, aren't they?

I thought you were talking about the Ameristar in NKC, MO. I think the GN in Biloxi is an OK place to play now. It was slightly creepy when it was Isle, but a person could play comfortably during the day. It's right on the ocean next to Harrah's Gulf Coast.
