Since my last visit to GN-LV in June 2014, I've been getting emails with offers for free and discounted rooms, invitations to various tourneys, and more very nice perks. This July, I'm getting a free Carson Tower room for two nights, and 40% off the next three nights. Resort fee applies to the three non-free nights, but can be waived if they're satisfied with my play.
This is the first time I've taken a Vegas casino up on their offer for a free room. What sort of play will they expect in order for me to continue getting offers for free rooms? To waive the resort fee for this trip? What other steps should I take to maximize my comps?
I'm typically a green-chip bettor on Pai Gow Poker and Blackjack, red-chip bettor on Roulette, red-chip bettor on UTH, low-roller on Video Poker. Any other games I should be playing for Players Club points?
Any and all advice is appreciated. Thanks!
They love slot players. See if you can find some must hits that are juicy.Quote: DeucekiesHey all,

A couple of things seem to help a little...if you are playing at a table, take frequent breaks to go to the restroom. They don't usually deduct that time from your playing time, so it can add time with no money risked to your totals. Tipping a bit seems to keep people on your side when it comes to ratings. Learn how to estimate how you should be rated and then talk to the person rating your play...they bump it if you give them reason to do so.
The AP thing--listen to the APs here and in other places for opportunities. The part I was mentioning before is not really just for APs but to maximize what you get...if a casino has a history of a very good intro offer from time to time, try to join their club when the best offer is available. Don't go to the Trop if they have the $200 loss rebate and play with just $40, for example...
Most of all, unless it is your job or side job, have fun!!
