After reading some of the posts on this forum I think I'm going to invest in tinfoil!>>>
Good luck finding the tin foil for your hat, it hasn't been made in this country since WWII. Its way too expensive and was replaced by aluminum foil. Will that work for your hat?

That's been my sig for months here, you're just now finding the need to comment on it? And what does that have to do with the Cosmopolitan?

I don't read sig's, I'm sure nobody reads mine. China make tinfoil, but they use too much lead so its not sold here.

While it's too new to make any long-term predictions, anything can fail.
Eventually, the Cosmo will become yesterday's news. When that happens, they better have a substantial base of dedicated, loyal customers. If they aren't profitable when that time comes, it's game over.

I have no doubt that Cosmo can be "operationally profitable". It's actually a fairly rare property that does not have an "operational income". One way or another you usually find your balance between the quality of your goods and service, and the price that people are willing to pay.
So there would be no reason to close the facility. But that's not saying a whole lot, as The Riviera, and Circus circus are still open. But I doubt that the Cosmopolitan is ever going to come close to paying the debt service on the property. But the bank has spent the money already. Their only hope is to keep on operating the property.
