Quote: KonbuDid not see anything indicating a different gaming area other than under the midway. Was there earlier this month on a Saturday night, and all around were mom, pop, granny, grandpa betting $5 BJ/PGP/Craps while the 6-12 run around the midway and the 13-16 sitting around looking bored.
In thinking about it, it may be that you could get to this gaming spot by going up and past the Adventuredome area, but there was also an escalator to get there from the main casino. I'll have to ask about it next time I'm there.
Regs now regulate the areas above a gaming floor and its very hard to have a second floor casino nowadays. Minimum cameras, cabling, sprinklers, etc.
This used to be a busy spot with a deli, sports book and a tram that took you to the main casino. Circus Circus Was one of the few places that had 3 banks of Flush Attack machines. 1 bank of Flat tops near the Pizza place, 2nd bank of uprights across the hallway from the buffet, 3rd bank of flat tops was in the Skyline casino.Quote: teddysYou're thinking of the Skyline casino. They got rid of the table games a while ago. Still has slots, and at least the last time I was there, a couple couches and chairs(!).
Soon after I quit my job, I hired my good friend part time, who was only 19 going on 20 for $6 an hr plus 5% to10% in bonuses to help me play. I Got him a suit to help avoid being carded, he never did get carded.
Since the value was only during the bonus round (Flush Attack mode) I got a set of walkie talkies (cell phones were to expensive) to communicate back and forth to alert each other of the conditions. Unfortunately the range didn't reach the Skyline casino. Eventually they took out the 2nd and 3rd bank.
The first bank remained for a while.
Unfortunately my friend eventually meet cute young srtipper and went down a dark path :(

That sounds like an interesting story.
Quote: GreasyjohnJust curious, a decade ago Circus Circus used to have a casino area on the second floor. Not where the midway or circus performs, but in another portion of their property. Anyone know if they still have it?
I'm pretty sure it is slots only now.
