I stayed here a few years ago. The room was nothing special, but the value and location were great.
The ratio of people to cake is too big.

My in-laws stay at Ballys a few times a year (MIL's slot play earns them a few nights here and there). I've been in their rooms a few times, and I thought they were pretty outdated and dingy. Of course they stay in a smoking room. It is a fantastic location, though.

My wife and I use to stay at paris but found we did most of our gambling t Bally's so now we stay at Bally's. Perfect location and as long as the room has a fridge its perfect.

Stayed at Bally's last year. I got a non smoking room in the older tower. The room was very large, not fancy. It was clean and the view was fantastic, the Eiffel Tower and Bellagio fountains. For $36 a night it was pretty hard to beat.

I stayed at Bally's for 2 nights on 09/19/10 and 09/20/10. My room was comped so I got a basic room in the old tower. Suprisingly it wasn't bad. Now don't get me wrong, The majority of rooms on the strip are nicer. You can't compare a free room at Bally's with Paris or The Mirage, but all in all it was a good size, clean room. I only spend 8 hours or less in it and during that time my eyes are closed for most of it, so it surved its purpose. No complaints.
