Note sure about Mike, but in my opinion both have value. There is something to be said about gliding over historic Fremont and seeing all the people below.
VooDoo is higher and you get to see part of the strip and off strip Vegas.
If you are afraid of heights, both will be scary, but VooDoo is higher.
So I cant provide an answer on one or the other. Best bet if interested is do both and form your own opinion.
And I know that doesn't answer you question, but its Vegas and everyone has their own opinion on what they like best.
Quote: GWAEWe talked about doing them the other week when we were there. Couldn't justify $80 for the freemont one and never made it to the rio. Maybe they will eventually have a Groupon or have bogo coupons.
Not sure If Fremont will have to, but Rio needs to based on what I observed.
I'd like to see an Article on that too.Quote: MrVYou might want to go for the trifecta and review Bootleg Canyon Flightlines.
For any midwesterners, I can recommend this one:
Valley Zipline Tours
The price is $ 90, but I have a discount code, pm me. It is out in the boondocks a bit, but in a scenic area. The course is 11 different ziplines, with some short ones to practice on since the rider handles the braking. Total Zipline length is 7000 feet.

I forgot about that one. I've seen it when I went mountain biking a while back. That is way out on the sticks. Business can't be too good for them since the other two opened. Thanks for the suggestion; I'll keep it in mind my next visit out that way.

I'd have to go with the long line on SlotZilla. Not as high or fast as Voodoo but the location is great and has the sensation of flying. The Voodoo is more like a ski lift that goes fast.
$25 first try, $20 every subsequent try for the rest of the day.
good to know it's now $20 to start. do you get a discount for subsequent tries?
I turned backwards as I went down the zipline. :(
BOTH TIMES. :(
this new longer one seems like theres no chance of you turning backwards.
but not for $40.
Who/what is VegasAces? new site you created Mike?
And what's with you and cute assistants? :)

No.

That would be true. Everyone in my group of four went straight the whole time.

You can learn more about Heather at her site Vegas Aces. She does my Social Media, Email screening, and keeps me company on zip-lines.
You mentioned being willing to try it next time you were in the area but it is out in the sticks a bit, for sure.
Quote: MrVHey wiz, just wondering whether you've gotten around to trying the zipline at Bootleg Canyon yet?

No. I've seen it riding my mountain bike in the area. It is quite short, to be honest with you and I'm somewhat bored with desert terrain. I doubt I'll ever do it.
