I'm pretty tall and fit. I havent done any official eating challenge before. If I go to some new wing joint I'll try to eat a dozen of their hottest wings. I've eaten like 50oysters before at a buffet.

Thanks rudeboyoi, is CMC4 (Chickent McNugget Challenge 4) going to happen? If so, when?

That's good with me. Can any of the other Vegas members make it?

So far I don't have a single wager on this, not counting my $100 freeroll offer. Anybody interested in getting 2 to 1 on the YES?

With the track record of this challenge you're
only at 2/1? 6/1 seems more realistic.

Back from a 7 day "vacation" and will be in Vegas starting Tuesday. Let me know if you are going through with this and where the planned location is. I would like to see it and would be willing to wager some on it. Keep us updated.

I suggest we do this at 5:00 PM at the usual McDonalds (at the D) this Tuesday.

Here are the lines I'm offering to members in good standing. My window is specifically closed to Lemieux66, as I don't do business with welchers.

Yes +300
No -500

I think -500 on the no is not something I would want to take. If anyone can do this I think he can. I'm not saying I think he can, I'm saying he has the best chance out of all the people.

My question is How much will you take on the no?

I will be in Vegas but not sure if I can talk my wife (yea, I know) into going downtown to watch this. We were DT last trip and were not planning on it this time. If you did it on the Strip at a McD there, I would walk down. Anyways, here is my offer, I met Rudeboy with Mission last December and I am willing to bet on him. I will take the YES at +350 for $100 if you are willing to book it at those odds. Seems fair as the posted odds have some wiggle room. I also want to give $50 to Rudeboy if he completes the challange. If I cannot make it Tuesday, I will be on the strip at Cosmo and the general area from Tuesday- early Saturday to square up if that works.

My money is always good, win or lose.

If Axel takes the bet above I'll accept yours and play both sides.

You two are also welcome to negotiate a bet between each other, as you would make out better than going through me, to be honest with you.

Seems to me that they may have had the munchies. That was an awful lot of giggling about such a serious subject. Would that be considered cheating? Has anyone considered that a participant could materially affect the outcome by smoking a joint before the contest? Should the participants be tested for performance enhancing drugs?
If government is the answer, it must have been a very stupid question.

Not that I have a lot of experience with eating contests, but going in hungry seems like a bad plan. Your stomach may have room in it, but you may start to feel full more quickly.

Like I said, I'm no expert, but I would think that having a small breakfast, a small lunch, and a modest amount of high-potency/low volume ethanol-containing liquid should do it. Try going in ready for a meal, but not famished.

I already have -200. Unfortunately only $100 to win $50. I should have pushed more aggressively to get action at that line when Wiz was only offering even money.

You really think that he has better than a 1 in 20 shot of doing it? I think if you line up 100 people who think that they can do it, you won't get 1 who can. It's a lot harder than it sounds.

with that logic why not load up? You are suggesting the line is way off. That's big advantage and you can handle the action.

Well, it's easy for me to be wrong, by a lot. I might think that it's most likely that the line is somewhere in that range, but if I'm wrong I could be WAY off. The problem with laying odds is that when you are wrong it is very expensive, and I don't have that much information here. Its not like I have stats to back up my thought on what the fair line is.

that's a fair answer.

That's kind of how I feel about the entire thing. considering I got + money on the NO betting on Mission. I got even money on DJatc's shameful attempt(His Miata should have been dead giveaway for evryone, if RB drove one I would know how to bet for sure) TBH, I was on the fence at one point betting on DJ and backed off on some action at even money from his roommate (he is usually correct) I changed my mind a few days before and the day of and picked more action up.

Mission got close and I think RB is more motivated. However that alone wont do it.
