Ok, I edited this post because I’m worried I was detailing the thread too much. But pretty much the essence is, roulette is bad and don’t worry about it.

So now that Sands sold the Venetian to Apollo, what symbol are they using for the triple zero? It used to be the stylized "S" for Sands.

Perhaps a rendering of a human hand with the middle finger extended?

There seems to be consensus that Wynn, Venetian, and Bellagio have the nicest common areas. Does any other casino make the cut? TinMan suggested Aria, who agrees or disagrees? Does Cosmo's chandelier lounge get it into the same class as the Wynn, Venetian, Bellagio?

I just stayed at ARIA, and I respectfully DISAGREE with TinMan. ARIA does NOT make the Cut.

Other than the CHANDELIER, what else does COSMO have in terms of common areas ? So, I would say COSMO is not quite up to the standards of Wynn, Venetian, and Bellagio. Put it on the Runners-up list.

- update: Well, after furthur thought, I guess they have the escaltor running up through the middle of the place, which is interesting.
- AND the statues of the dogs are kind of cool.
- So a case could be made for putting COSMO in 4th place.
Just missed the "podium".

note: I have NOT been to RESORTS WORLD, so I don't know how it stacks up.

I haven't been to Resorts World either, but judging by the pictures on Vital Vegas, it's not all that.

$4.3 billion and they couldn't rival Wynn / Venetian / Bellagio?

In my mind, Aria, Bellagio, Cosmopolitan, Venetian, Wynn, are the top of the Strip. This is based entirely on what I consider their own general reputations.

I think whatever shopping they offer should be included in determining the highest end properties. Also, if they include luxury places to buy and / or live in, not just rent. Those are the reasons I would put Aria at the top.

Wynn/Encore is #1 in my mind for "luxurious".
