I over heard two casino bosses discussing a dealer black jack payout.
the dealer paid their $2.50 Blackjack $4.00 . One boss seemed very upset that they rounded up (no quarters on table).
He made the comment "that is alot of money we are giving the dealers".
I got to thinking it can not be that much. what are the chances of a player getting BJ on any given hand? (say 100 hands)
than of that number what are the chances I have bet $2.50 for the dealer?
generally speaking the only time I see a 2.50 bet for a dealer is after a blackjack.
So what are the chances of back to back blackjacks in 100 hands?

I roughly estimate the probability of at least one set of back to back blackjacks in 100 hands is 20%.

I think the usual payout is to replace the pink with a red, and give an extra dollar, which does shortchange the dealer 25c. I do notice they don't like to drop the odd chips, and sometimes they save up the whites on top of the box till they can color up. I guess they don't want to get a box full of whites before the collector comes and they don't have any room. Plus then it looks like they've been tipped plenty already if the box is full. Also some tables only have 2 rows of whites and they don't want to be short and not be able to make change for future tippers.
