Looking for an offbeat suggestion from one of the LV locals.

Background is we are 2 couples with a car service looking for a mid stop during a 6 hour trip for a friends 50th. I have been to every brewery in Vegas so they are out and I think I have been to many of the more well known off strip places I consider interesting as a frequent visitor. Day will start at the Pioneer Saloon in Goodsprings and end up at the Golden Tiki (I prefer over Frankie's) but I am looking for something for the middle stop. Can be old school, a casino or anything in between.

I was thinking Champagne's as a Vegas classic but the reviews are mixed and have never been there. Want something on the way between Pioneer and GT but willing to go off the 15 at little if needed. We are spending about 90 minutes at each place with a couple drinks during the day so somewhere that may be sketchy at night is ok. We wont be gambling during this trip so that doesn't need to be a consideration. Dino's also came up as possibly fitting the criteria but again mixed.

Thanks in advance for all suggestions.

The Sand Dollar is a popular lounge that has lots of blues and jazz and stuff like that on many nights. It's on the West side. IIRC maybe a mile or 2 from palace station.

Thanks, heard of it only on Bar Rescue. It’s semi near the Tiki so it’s a good option. Assuming no music during the afternoon, but it is a good place to have a few and talk? Jukebox or decent background music playing?

Thanks again for the suggestion.

I have it on my list to go later in the night for pasta sometime. Is that where Zia plays, would love to hear and see her? Thanks!

This is a nice place if you haven't been there. The women usually really like it.
At my age, a "Life In Prison" sentence is not much of a deterrent.

Steiner's on S. Las Vegas Blvd. near Blue Diamond is just off the 15 and has great food for a lunch stop. Really nice bartenders as well. Nice comfortable place to spend an hour or two.
