2+2, sorry. It's the specialist poker forum to go to.
We have a poker section here, but it's not even 0.01% the size. If we remove everything except it, will anyone move here? No, if anything we'll lose the people who visit both.
From what I have observed, ratio doesn't matter. I post on several forums each on multiple subjects. Some have very little off-topic, some are full of it, and it has no correlation with forum quality.
No names, but a 100k+ member PC tech forum with even most of its 15% off-topic section being tech topics (so just 2-3% pure OT) is only good knowledge-wise and outright bad behavior-wise. Another 100k+ has 60% of it off-topic and as much as 20% is pure OT, but happens to be almost strictly informative and mostly disciplined. Similar size, similar age, same main topic, similar site format, they even share a lot of staff and expert members.

I joined this forum as an offshoot from the WOO website. I now am interested in BOTH the gambling and non-gambling related threads. I am interested in what the bright minds feel about a variety of interesting topics. I prefer to 'shop' in one place, hence I do not go to DT often. I do not want the format here changed. If further limited, I will have less reason to visit this site, not more. I agree with Bob.... it's not broke, so don't fix it.
