Hello everyone,
This is my 448th post on WOV with 447 of them under the name benbakdoff. For the last three weeks, I have not been able to log in under my old name despite trying everything I could think of. As a last resort, I was able to register under 1BB. So, other than losing the name I've had for 15 months as well as my flagging privileges all is well and I am happy to be back. Has anyone had a similar experience?

1. Welcome back
2. Every once in a while, I have to re-log in on my phone. That takes 2-3 tries before it accepts my pre-stored password
3. I'll be the first to make this joke...maybe you were backed off?

On all of the forums I visit, I NEVER use the Logout link.
When I come back, I'm still logged in. It's nice.
Except for the once in a while, for no particular reason, a system logs me out. (This is not due to a time-out since it has happened as quickly as 30 minutes after a visit.)
THEN it becomes a royal PITA is I forgot my password. So now I keep a list of all my passwords. I've tried using the same password to keep it simple, but some places have different requirements, etc.
As far as I can remember, I've never had a problem, or been logged off, of WoV.

Ha ha... getting backed off did cross my mind. If I'm ever put on suspension, I'm going to want credit for time served!

Why not choose a name very close to the old one, like "benbackdoff?"

I could have but I'm sure someone will be with me shortly to straighten things out and get my original name back.

Just use the "reset password" link when logging in, get the new password and you are away...
I forget mine here every so often as the password rules are slightly different to the rules in most other places, so my standard pattern doesn't work.
