"Top threads" feature

A suggestion for the assembled administrators:
Can you make the "Top Threads" list that shows up in the upper-left be limited to the past 3 months or so? It seems misleading to new readers, and inaccurate to old ones, to suggest that the "Craps Strategy Investment" thread is actually a "top" thread in any meaningful sense right now. I realize that it is the all-time most responded-to thread, but that seems to have decreasing relevance as time goes on.
