Why are there so many low-quality articles on this site?

I notice there are a lot of low quality AI articles on the front page, often nonsensical, they use antiquated language and have a specific style that seems to come from unedited ChatGPT. They don't appear to have been edited or fact-checked. It is very off-putting.

Are all the articles on this site ai? Are the forum discussions all real or are chatbots used to create an impression of humans communicating when there is little or no human traffic on a forum?

I get the vibe that most posters are real

The posters are real, and I don't understand why they post AI instead of using their own words to tell the story. Perhaps they think an AI-generated story has more credibility.

Most of the mods remove bot posters and their posts quite quickly.
The mods don't police the articles.

For what it's worth, I don't think I'm a bot, but I'm not sure how I would know.
