I recently joined Pogo. I've been playing Texas Holdem - 4 players - no jokers. I have played over 60 games and have not won a single game. I'm a good poker player - I don't do all-ins and wild bets. Others are telling me that's no big deal. But I think the odds of this happening must be astronomical. Is anybody able to figure those odds for me? - the odds of playing 4 person Texas Holdem and losing 60 games in a row. I'm new here, so please ask if I left any pertinent detail out.
Thanks, folks

You say you are good at poker but your post indicates different. 1) why the mention of no jokers? 2) It's hands, not games. Perhaps I'm missing something. Do they have TH with jokers?
Unless we know how you and others were playing and what hands, there's no way to know the odds. Someone can do an estimate if everyone called everything down to the river.

I was going to type "(I don't think that matters)" after I mentioned the jokers. LOL No- 60 games not hands. I've lost 60 games - EVERY single game I've played so far. Is it possible to figure the odds of that happening?

I would have to say, no, there's no way to provide odds, because skill levels, personal bet patterns (ranges), and luck all play a part. It's not as if you're playing against the house, with house rules governing how much they pay or how they play their cards. I'm assuming you're playing against other live players, not a computer.
If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.

If you had four identical players then it might be reasonable to estimate the chances of a specific player not winning one hand - essentially 3/4 ^ 60 - which is fairly small (.000 000 031 892). Similarly if there was a bad player, who only had a 5% chance of winning, then there's about a 5% chance they don't win any of 60 games.Quote: DannyJudeI've lost 60 games...Is it possible to figure the odds of that happening?
