I've come to prefer the EZ bac game over the standard game. The main reason is the speed of the game; with no commissions to tally, the dealers can really move the game along, if they so desire. And, given my time constraints, that is a good thing for a player such as myself.

So if anyone knows of any EZ bac games in LV, please don't hesitate to post such information.

(Sidenote: It doesn't have to be in the casino-hotel that I'm staying in (I'm leaning towards the Aria) because I'm paying "retail" for the room so I've no commitments to play in any particular casino. I'm free to play wherever I can find the best conditions.)

Getting back to this post, when exactly did you see EZ bac tables at the Cosmo? I was there last night, and there were none. (Don't recall any over the past couple years either)

LOL. You're absolutely right. They are gone. Dropped by there today. The last times I was there was December 2012 and March 2013 when they had them. There were $25 two tables from what I remember.

I don't think EZ Bac is popular with the Vegas crowd given the huge bets. Harrahs had them around 2010/2011 and now they are just regular bac tables. Mandalay Bay had them. About five tables but don't know about now. I may drop by there tomorrow morning to see and find out.

OK, that makes sense then. (I don't think I went to the Cosmo during that time frame. They pissed me off about something, so I took my action elsewhere for several months.)

Anyway, it sounds like they gave EZ Bac a shot, but it just didn't work out, for whatever reason. Come to think of it, EZ Bac isn't as widespread on the Strip as one would think. I know a few places offer it, but I'll have to look around the next time I'm there to jog my memory as to which places exactly. I'll be sure to report back.

Update on my September LV trip:

I'm looking at the Venetian. A couple of questions arise:

1.) What's the difference between booking/staying at the Venetian as opposed to the Palazzo? Anybody have a preference? And why?

2.) Any comment on the hotel?

3.) Any comment on the casino?

As always, your comments are much appreciated, and I thank you in advance.

This trip is an important one for my wife and I.

The Palazzo is much newer. They are both great hotels. The rooms even the standard one is really spacious! Yet I never stayed there because I much prefer the Wynncore across the street. Because most of my trips are solo ones I don't need all that big space that the Venetian/Palazzo offers.

Casino is huge and you can easily get lost in them. To this day I still get lost! LOL. Adelson purposely built them that way to keep you in there. The mini-bac tables are always packed with people so you are better off heading to the high limit area. There are two at the Venetian and two at the Palazzo. The Venetian side tends to have more people than the Palazzo. At the Palazzo there is a Stadium Baccarat machine there. Unlike the ones you find at Resorts NYC there is an actual dealer dealing with a real deck of cards. There are two games going on at the same time. Table minimum is $5. Check it out. I never played it because that 25 second down time between hands I find very annoying. I only need about 5.

You really can't go wrong with that hotel/casino. Only thing that I find annoying was that flowery smell they keep pumping into that place especially when you are entering from the bridge connecting from the Wynn.

Thanks again, D-man. I'm leaning Palazzo...that "stadium Bac" sounds interesting.

They wouldn't let me take a picture but they allowed Vegas Chatter to do so. So if you are wondering what this contraption is, here you go.

Yup best to travel solo when you pick up dime store hookers from the boardwalk and think that is something to brag about on the internet, hopefully fate will catch you up and we can relish a "Dallas Buyers Club" moment.

LOL. Really glad you are back on WoV egalite/RolexWatch. Love to see the Peter Keating in you come to light. Given your posting behavior patterns looks like you have experienced further losses since your beat down(s) in Australia. You always tend to go on a posting rant all over the place when you have serious set backs. Well if this is how you "win" in baccarat feel free to post away if it makes you feel better!

Or better yet come to Vegas, the casinos and me especially would love to take your chips.

Yeah you could point out the all crack addicted dime store hookers you been with, you gotta be racking up the numbers by now, lonely cretin in Vegas, thinks it's worth posting a picture of the side-walk flyers that are handed out, then bragging he went with some crack ho. Probably visited STD clinics more times than you won. "Dallas buyers club" soon please!! Seriously hope you catch something that makes you nuts fall off, heard solid rumours your preference is trannies, or the time you fell asleep and then got skanked.

The Kelly criterion is not some chick called Kelly with a strap-on and no you can't apply it to the game of Baccarat, DMSCR/egalite @Bacc' Labs/Jug Head/bonfide mental case and sad crank. Hey ever though of buying this site and shutting it down, you petulant child in an adult body?

"Take my chips", ha dream on brat. FYI I did rather well, exceptionally well, way beyond expectation in Oz. Like they say 'Form is temporary, class is permanent', something you will never achieve. Just so you know as you always seem behind the a-ball and do a fair amount of barrel scraping assuming nonsense in your feeble small-minded desperation to say something. I eat and sleep great, no longer smoke and even work out, life is sweeeeeet, your snide remarks are of no significance to me than the crabs that live in your pubes. Now that is off my chest, yes it was well worth it, I'll take it 'cos my action takes place in casinos not on gambling forums.

Now I'm off to the casino punk.
