What causes the difficultly of sometimes getting the cursor in the message box?

Is it on my end, or the forum.

It's like you type some part of the message, and it hangs sometimes. I'm on Windows 7, quad core, 12 Gb ram, DSL. IE, but not the brand new one.

I've had it happen on other places too, not just here.

AND it doesn't happen all the time.

Thanks if you know the answer, or even if you don't.

I use Windows at work, Mac at home, and a iPhone at various times.

I've never had problems like what you're describing.

I use Linux, and I always need a mouse-click to position the cursor b4 I start posting. Tabbing does not always work.
Some people need to reimagine their thinking.

I think I'm not quite describing it right. It's like you're typing, and then for some reason at the end of say, two sentences, the cursor stops blinking and just continues to hang in one place. You can't easily reposition it.

What happens if you alt+tab to another program to take away focus? Does that work?
When you put focus back on the browser, is the problem still there?

What happens if you try another browser, like Google Chrome or FireFox?

It sounds to me like a local PC issue.
