Beachbumbabs has been promoted to being a full administrator. I asked JB to make the technical changes as soon as he gets back from his latest trip to Foxwoods.
I consider BBB to be one of the most intelligent and cool-headed members of the forum and know she will do an outstanding job. Please join me in welcoming her to the "green" club. For months she has been a good set of eyes on the site and I have no compunction to now giver her the stick to make sure the rest of you behave yourselves.

Thanks, GWAE, but you must have me confused with someone who understands upper level math. There are many on here, including the other 2 admins. Unfortunately, the skills don't transfer with the title. lol...and I hope you do continue to joke.

Well maybe not math like Mission does which makes me want to punch him the face. I always thought I knew math pretty well until I see things that he posts. I bet if he watches the Big Bang Theory he understands the equations that Leonard and Sheldon always put on their board.
I also hope next week we don't have a post that says Mission resigns from greenies because of the JJ drama.

Can't speak for him directly, but I would say he's not going anywhere. He's quite dedicated (and good at) this, and will be mentoring me at my request (along with the Wiz, of course).

It's really difficult to quantify, depends on the day. I'm almost always doing other stuff while I am here, unless business is really slow. I'd say maybe an average of four hours a day I spend logged in and either posting/reading/dealing with PM stuff.

Coincidentally, I sent Wizard a PM recommending BeachBumBabs be promoted almost exactly one hour after he offered her the position, even though he had not told me he offered it to her.
If that's not consensus, I don't know what is.
Anyway, I think BeachBumBabs will be an excellent bad cop Co-Administrator, and I'm going to have a great time throwing her under the bus for decisions Membership doesn't agree with Administration on working with her to make WoV Forums even better than they already are. It's going to be great to have someone take the blame for all of my bad Moderation decisions to discuss different approaches to managing the Forums in general, and being the sole person to mete out punishment having someone to discuss individual cases with.
In all seriousness, though, it's going to be great to have BeachBumBabs as a teammate to help Wizard and myself out, and I look forward to working with her.
Finally, even though I have Administrated this Forum longer (and other Forums in the past) I want to make it extremely clear that BeachBumBabs and I are EXACTLY EQUAL on this Forum, so there is no reason to appeal her decisions to me privately. I am, however, hoping for one more additional Forum Administrator to be named that way we can have a three-way consensus (or two/three vote) on ban lengths in a short period of time.
Bottom line: I'm glad this job is going to be fun again, that's what we're all here to do, right? Wizard has been a great friend to me and almost solely facilitated my first ever trip to Vegas, but strictly speaking, this is purely volunteer work on my part.
