On Thursday, December 6, 2012, legendary saxophonist Don Hill will be celebrating his 91st birthday and the release of his book, House Party Tonight, in a special event at the Italian American Club, 2333 East Sahara Avenue in Las Vegas. The doors open at 6:30.
Don was a co-founder of The Treniers, a group that played together continuously from 1948 to 2003. Although they performed all across the country and around the world, they were Las Vegas regulars and were a staple in the Sin City casino lounges for over five decades.
The Speakeasy Swingers, featuring Don on sax, will provide the music, and many local entertainment celebrities will be there as well. Don will have copies of his book on hand and he'll personalize your copy for you.
Please stop by for an evening of fun and great entertainment. Photo ops will be available and Chef John of Casual to Elegant Events, will provide complimentary home made pastries, cannoli's and other desserts. So bring a sweet tooth in addition to your camera.
No cover or admission charge.
