Do you gamble more or less when the weather outside is unusually hot or cold? The hypothesis is that extreme heat or cold will keep people inside, and therefore expose them to more gaming opportunities. However, it also saps people’s energy, and makes them uncomfortable so maybe they gamble less. What say you?

I gamble more in extreme heat because I don't want to leave the AC. In LV June-Sept, I tend to vampire: play and live from about 7pm to 10am, sleep through the heat of the day. One of my favoritems things about LV is, that works for gaming. Not so much for groceries and business, but I'm not doing much of that there.
If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.

If the weather is nice I will prefer to be outside, take a convertible ride, work the yard, or anything like that. Mostly I play poker so when I play is dictated by the tournament schedule.

The outside temperature is irrelevant to me when it comes to gambling.

I do less of everything in the soul sucking evil of the heat because I am not a reptilian.

When it's cold I'll have more energy and want to go out and enjoy the pleasant weather. However, if there is snow or traffic that is another issue.

Summer time is bad news bears. I usually don't get anything done until the sun goes down if it involves going outside. Going to sleep when the sun comes up is +EV too.

If it's cold (sub 90-degree weather), I tend to be less motivated to do stuff. I love the summer. I didn't even have my AC going for quite a while.
