That figure is for nickels, higher denominations generally hold less.
The difference between fiction and reality is that fiction is supposed to make sense.

Here's another study, this one by UNLV:

The loosest slots in Nevada are in Reno.

The loosest ones in the Las Vegas area are on the Boulder strip.

The tightest are on the strip itself.

No surprise.

Yes, and one cent video reel slots are much tighter usually 85% to 90%.
At my age, a "Life In Prison" sentence is not much of a deterrent.
