The rumor on the street is that MGM has sold Circus Circus. We might not hear anything official for a few weeks if it is true.
At my age, a "Life In Prison" sentence is not much of a deterrent.

Vital Vegas has pushed this and has says it’s one of 4 potential buyers.
Phil Ruffin from TI, who tripled his money selling Frontier and buying TI on the cheap. (My Guess)
Golden, who owns PT’s and the Strat, and has become a huge player out of nowhere.
The other 2 including Boyd’s make no sense.

just came here to post that.
So on the current podcast that I am listening to Scott says he can not say who the buyer is but he knows. He then says it is not one of the big guys but it is a known player.
He lists a bunch of people that it is not. He mentions that he has to figure out a way to tell who the buyer is without saying who it is.
5 minutes later he is talking about Oyo. He said they are an unknown player unlike someone say like Phil Ruffin who is a known player.
Almost guaranteed that it is him.
Expect the worst and you will never be disappointed.

My question would be is Ruffin going to put much money into remodelling or is it strictly a real estate play. I would guess real estate play because once Resort World opens and the convention center expansion is complete, that corner should be worth quite a bit more.
