I'm recently upgraded to a Pearl level M-Life membership.

My wife only wants to stay at Bellagio.

I called the M-Life desk to try to make upcoming reservations, and with my Pearl discount I was getting quoted higher rates than the AAA rate available to the general public on the website.

I then logged into the mlife.com site and actually got a small discount.

Is there a better way? Wait on a mailer for an advertised special?

Wait for an e-mail?

Check for my special offers on the site?

I'm probably a small time roller: over five days I'll probably spend an extra $1,500 on food\spa\"O" tickets, and then run through $3,000 slot play and 10 hours at $50 craps.

That may very well get you a free room. Talk to them when you check out. You will at least get a discount.

You are unlikely to get anything up front. What I would do is, while playing craps, mention to someone in the pit that you don't have a host and ask if you can get one. They will probably call someone, who will give you their card and tell you to call them when you are ready to check out. So, call them when you are ready to check out.

If this doesn't work (ie, if you don't get a host) just check out at the player's club desk instead of the lobby. The player's club guy will call an on-call host, who will look at your play and comp you accordingly (they will at least knock something off your bill). However, your own host will generally give you a bit more (possibly a lot more) than the on-call host, so I'd treat this as a last resort.

How are you only pearl? That is a lot of play for pearl. Be sure to charge everything to your room (meals, show tickets, etc) rather than paying with a credit card. That way you will get tier credits. Between the retail spend and your play you will probably get upgraded to gold.

I would ask if anyone on the forum has extra.
