This conference along with 'best new table game competition' is happening again this year (2nd year under Richard Marcus). April 24-27 2023 at the Sahara. Anyone going to be there?

I have been thinking about it. However, I probably will not be going. I dont see if they have a casino willing to do a field trial for the winner. Does anyone know?

I’m skipping it this year.
I’m also considering skipping G2E.
On the other hand, I’ll be in town for 360VV12, plus a couple extra days. 7/30 to 8/4.

I just asked him about this. He is working on getting a casino out of Vegas to do this. Said he should know in a few weeks.

Best New Table Games Contest happened last week at this conference. The winners were as follows:
1st: 3 Shot Poker - a 3 card poker variant where you get to play your two hole cards with 3 community cards (1 at a time to form 3 - 3 card hands)
2nd: Homerun Poker - a poker room side bet where when you fold the side bet goes to a jackpot pool. The first player to win 4 hands (can be accelerated with really big hands) wins the pot.
3rd: 3 Dice Baccarat - 3 dice are rolled for player and a dealer using two shakers. Game is scored using baccarat scoring (use last digits). No re-roll rules. But several side bets.
