In my downtime between family parties I figured I'd give a quick update since new progress has been made. For those that do not know my game is Casino Over Under. The game was initially placed for its field trial at Magnolia Bluffs in Natchez, Ms. The game is still there but now we are officially licensed as of December 14.
I traveled up to Pa my home state for the holidays and while up here I was able to meet with a few gaming executives from Mount Airy Casino in the Poconos. That Casino is unbelievable! The scenic beauty is second to none and it just has a unique feel to the atmosphere that really has to be experienced to appreciate. I dealt a few hands and discussed the results at Magnolia. We covered the AP heat articles and agreed a CSM makes it a non-issue. Fortunately, they see the same potential I do in the game and they filed their letter of intent with the state of Pa.
We started the application process and will be seeking placements at additional casinos in Pa as we were told by a rep w the state that additional letters of intent helps speed up the process. Words can not explain how pumped I am to be seeking a license in my home state of Pa and placed in a top tier casino minutes from where I grew up!
Lastly, of course now that we are licensed in Ms we are seeking additional placements there as well. It's set to be a busy year in 2017! However, there's still a long way to go yet to get where we intend on going. Happy with the progress but plenty of hard work that needs to be done.
PA is a big placement for you guys, good jurisdiction.
The hold was higher than I ever expected over 30%. I always thought that with optimal play being as obvious as it is I was worried it would end up holding too low. It still is probably way too early to tell. However my expectations for that type of issue mean very little given I have no experience working for a casino. But I have plenty of experience as a player and from that standpoint the game has performed as I had hoped and attracted the type of players I created it to attract. I'm very happy about that. Seeing that materialize this far gives us a lot of confidence moving forward. The drops seemed good to me and haven't been an issue for those that have reviewed them so that works for me.
Thanks for the compliment on Mount Airy as there is no question a placement at that casino is a tremendous honor for any game fortunate enough to do so.
Get ready for three or possibly even four more placement announcements in the next few weeks. The Over Under is coming to a casino near everyone sooner or later! Stay tuned...

Congrats on you new game! It is quite an accomplishment. I was reading up on it but havent been able to find out what happens if the total is between 18-23? Do you lose your bets?
A better question is how often does a player's three card total 18 to 23?
Quote: ParadigmTotals of 18 through 23 don't meet the win requirements for either the over or under bet, so yeah, all bets lose on these player totals.

The answer is in the index (last page) of the Catlin Report posted in This Thread, on page two...
For six decks, 40.5% of the time you fall into that guaranteed loss window. Please check my math but I added a total for 18-23 of 2,030,704 out of 5,013,320 total combinations.
