The question for the forum is which is your favorite, judging by which you would be most likely to play yourself, assuming the house edge was equal on all games? Games that are obvious re-hashed versions of existing games are not included in the poll.
I thought the models with the best smiles were at DJ Wild and Dueling for Dollars.
I believe Lucky 13's does use face cards and the 11, 12, 13 in each suit for a new deck of 64 total cards.
Match'em Hi Lo was created by our own TaxmanCPA with Bally Tech distributing.
I think I still have rack cards for Four Card Fenzy & Dueling for Dollars if you want pics of them to add to the write up.
I don't know what it was called on that table, but it played exactly as described.
Criss Cross poker has been around for years! We used to play that in home poker games as far back as 1986.
Some of these look interesting, but some are disasters. The games that require custom decks, like the Full Color stuff, probably can't even get legalized in many jurisdictions.

+1......and even if you got through the legal hurdle, imagine figuring our the optical scanner function in your shufflers with a non-standard deck.....wait, we just upgraded to the new shufflers with optical capabilities and now they are totally useless on these games......pass thank you very much. Total non-starters in my opinion in any US jurisdiction.

Well, at least these are shoe games where hand shuffling is a viable option. Still though, most GCs don't like games that can't be played with the standard 54 cards.
Quote: HunterhillQuestion for PaiGowdan. What is the house edge in Cajun stud?, Since you can check on the first bet, it must be lower than Mississippi Stud.
I'll let Dan correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the rules and pay table for the base game are exactly the same, thus the same house edge.

Yep. I asked. 64 cards.
They even gave me a deck. Can't wait to use them at my regular poker game. 😎
Will my '12' out kick your 'Ace'?
Quote: RaleighCrapsIn Between was in play on the BJ tables at The Meadows casino in Washington, PA. My wife and I played on the table at WoV East II.

That's correct, In-Between has actually been around for a long time. Wizard has already analyzed the side bet, and it has been in existence since (at least) April of 2011 as that is when it was first reported to Wizard.

I'm pretty sure Wheeling Island has had it for well over a year, can't speak for Meadows, other than I remember seeing it there.
Sounds kind of like Caribbean Stud with some wild cards. And it looks like the dealer doesn't need to qualify? I'd play that.
If I understand the rules correctly, In Cajun stud you can check on your first bet (3rd street in miss stud) In Mississippi you have to bet or fold.So in Cajun you get to see an extra card for free. So this should change the house edge no?Quote: WizardI'll let Dan correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the rules and pay table for the base game are exactly the same, thus the same house edge.
Quote: AyecarumbaIs there any concern that the EZ Bacc folks will come after SHFL's "Fortune 7" for what amounts to a renamed knockoff?
No. The base patent for Talismans' Commission-free Baccarat has been expired, and is public domain, so is offer-able, as long as you do not use the competitor's Trademarked name. To protect their install base, DEQ offers some very fine companion products that work hand-in-hand with EZ Baccarat, such as the Hawk shoe, which tracks cards after dispensing to the board, to provide tremendous game protection as well as "dealer transparent" automatic bonusing on their G3 progressive. I didn't mean to "pitch a competitor," but I will give fine credit where due.

Actually, no; there is some base-game flexibility and selection of house edges via pay tables. However, I have since apprised Mike of some technical specs of our announced and displayed games, with the intention that I shall leave the reporting of the reviews and specs on Galaxy's games in his non-biased hands. I might be considered or viewed as biased or exuberant (I may very well be, since I am proud of Galaxy's very fine work, and a part of Galaxy's efforts), - it is best to let Mike handle the reviews and math.

I always like being proven wrong, because it means I learned something. When I looked at the picture of the Cajun Stud table at the show the pay table looked the same as for Mississippi Stud. However, I couldn't read it exactly, due to the distance and sharp angle. I did not know that multiple pay tables were available, so thank you Dan for the correction.
