Wynn and Thunder Valley in California are the only casinos to offer Dealer Bluff.

Thunder Valley gets blamed for bankrupting Reno but they do seem somewhat innovative.
Quote: PacmanDealer Bluff, a game co-invented by Stacy Friedman (Math Extremest), went live yesterday at Wynn Las Vegas. On the third hand out, a player won $2,500.

WOO page on Dealer Bluff
Dealer Bluff is a new poker-based variant I noticed at the Wynn on September 25, 2009. It has since been removed.
I suggest that you or Stacy send him the updated information so he can correct his website.
I like the name, a lot.

I will. Wynn had originally installed--and subsequently removed--the game in 2009.

I realize we will be playing Free Bet & House Money at the Show, but nothing is the same as trying a game with real $$ on the line. It is the only way to experience how the game really feels to the player.

You'd think that, but you'd be surprised how emotionally involved you can get even if there is no money on the line.
I used to play, but now deal, in a pub poker league. People take it very seriously. You'd think they won or lost their mortgage the way some people react.
I got VERY emotionally involved when I was treated to a preview of House Money at the SM office in May.
Oh, sure, I'd want to try these for cash, but playing for fun can be just as enlightening.

I do get that way with in non-cash poker games because you are competing against another player.....battle of wits, etc. It is a competition, just like playing any other game for thrill of beating someone else.
But in a negative EV game, the only real fun for me is in beating the house edge in the short run for real cash.
Quote: WizardAre the rules at Wynn the same as the old rules, the California rules (as shown at Discount Gambling), or something else?
No. I will send you the rules.
