I was in Blackhawk Friday night about 8 pm a week ago and again yesterday 1:30. Nobody playing both times. Hell, no body even standing there. No dealer ? Beautiful lighted signs, still no rules available or even a rack card.
Rack card holder had a card about bonus points for games on one side, upcoming barbacue for Labor day on the backside.
There was a bronco game Sunday, 40 slots players downstairs at Mardi Gras, about half than many slots upstairs.

The electronic sign on 1st floor said More Table Games Upstairs. LOL the 4 $5 Bj games were moved upstairs months ago.
Still in a cluster of 4 at top of stairs. About 25 table games players at 5 tables $10, $15, $5, $5 6/5 and Texas holdem in action.
4 craps shooters. Lonely dealer at Roulette spinning and roll ball, obviously making mind bets.

Hope she does not lose her mind. on last 5 visits have yet to see anyone playing roulette !

Guessing Switch split is 70-30. Looks to me like the benevolent dictator does not have the influence he once had. I mean still no rack cards ? WTF

Side note. Double up BJ still goimng strong across the street at Lodge. Rules, rack card , and now even on electronic billboard
outside.

Buzz,

Which property were you at? I haven't been to Blackhawk in a few years, but the Ameristar seemed to be the property that had it going on. I believe a local dealer referred to it as the "Death Star" when commenting on its impact on the other smaller properties there.

If this was the scene at Ameristar (though I don't recall them having an upstairs table game pit when I was there), that doesn't speak well of the gambling market as a hole in Blackhawk, let alone Switch installs there.

I was at the Mardi Gras. Ameristar is indeed the Death Star. Ameristar has 22 tables games. I was there on a Friday night and
16 tables were going. 12 BJ, 4 carnivals. 6 of the 12 BJ were STREAK. Stacey Perry is one hell of a saleslady evidently.
Originally Ameristar opened as a Hilton, I think.

I do know it opened 2 weeks late. and had to shut down early twice the first week for lack of cash. Ameristar excels at comps and treating the customers right. Nothing succeeds like success

Ameristar is where I first saw Streak, had to grab a rack card and find out what it was. Also first look at Boston 5 was there.

Are there any Switch tables at Ameristar?

I think Ameristar and Lodge had both. Crystal Math is the local correspondent for Blackhawk on this forum.
