Seven Stars Newsletters?

With the demise of Seven Stars Insider, I'm at a loss about a convenient, up-to-date source for the CET Rewards infrastructure. Anyone know of anything like SSI that's out there?

I do have to say that I really appreciate how much work Darryl McEwen put into it, more now than ever since when he stopped work on it, he took the whole thing down rather than transfer it to someone else to run. But given that he passed away shortly after he stopped working on the site, I imagine he had other things on his mind. He died about a year ago: 10/10/2021. I chatted with him via email a time or two.

Your host should keep you posted on all that. Mine does.

I pick up anything free I can get via Caesars Vegas even if it requires a stay and we don't need the room.

Don't make the mistake of thinking your host is on the inside. Caesars pays them to give the company line.

Just like in many other situations it depends on the person you are dealing with. Some hosts are very smart and know all the ins and outs. Some are not too smart.

Some hosts are very generous and some hosts are not so generous. Take this for what it's worth, but in my experience male hosts are much more generous than females.

Hint, just because one host says he/she can't really comp something quite yet, "need more play", " perhaps at the end of your trip." (Hosts rarely come right out and say, "NO".) Don't necessarily give up. Wait for a new shift and ask a different host. Oftentimes, you change hosts. I have had vastly different results when asking for comps from the same play across 2 different hosts. I'll have one host say, I can't really do that for you right now, and another host say "absolutely, and what else can I get you?"

I have had hosts go to bat for me and get being 86ed overturned.

Some hosts can be very informative and even give you information they shouldn't be giving out. Everything from how their system works... to private personal information about other players.
