I don't know how long they have been doing it, but Harrah's Laughlin is now charging $10 in points for the Diamond Lounge. I thought only Atlantic City did that.

in ac, you only get charged $10 rc if you have less than 25k tc. (wish they up it to 40k tc, aka Aspirations lvl 1 to get in for free.)

does Harrah's Laughlin have something similiar?

What have they done? Now there are people in Bullhead City/Laughlin who will never again see, let alone ingest, any solid food. Regional consumption of complimentary cocktail condiments will soar.

If they're going to charge more than its worth, why even call it a diamond lounge, why not just let anyone in for $10., I've seen maybe 2 diamond lounge spreads worth $10.

Actually I think they kinda did that before. It has been a while for me since I let my Diamond card die, but my recollection is that I don't think they ever had anyone at the door of the Harrah's Laughlin to check people into it. At least any of the times I was there I don't think I was ever asked to show my card. It was a noticeably better little spread than the usual Diamond chicken wing & celery stick "lounges" on the Strip, but not ten bucks worth unless you got a lot of extra mileage out of the beverage service. But it seemed anyone could get away with strolling into it who could find it.

Harrah's Laughlin also quit giving free drinks to Diamond card holders at the bars when you are not playing.

The Atlantic City ones certainly are worth $10, as is Harrahs Chester.

That's actually a smart move on their part.
