Vegas- $100 celebration dinner benefit
i'll probably be eating with 3 friends.
I was thinking Rio's World Carnival lunch buffet ($25/person).
what are some other good places to use this $100 celebration dinner certificate for 4 people?
Caesars has an amazing buffet (bacchanal), though for 4 people it's going to be like $230. So you could get it half off =P. It really is a pretty amazing buffet. King crab legs, mmmm...
Surprisingly, I thought Harrahs buffet was pretty good too. I've eaten there a few times now and every single time it's been super fresh and the food was great, as well as a good variety. The only thing about hHarrahs was I felt the desserts were lacking a bit for my taste.
If you want to eat an amazing buffet for half off - do Caesars.
If you want a good buffet with seafood - Do Rio
If you want something mid strip that has always been good for me - Harrahs.

Didn't you mention before that your 100 was expiring before your trip. Did you get that extended?

wow.. Harrah's buffet is only a couple $ less than Rio's World buffet? I always equated harrahs with flamingo in terms of price point.

yes, different.
folio is some fancy term caesars uses that I still have no idea what it means.
you get it for being Diamond aspirations (40k tier points). plain diamond is only 15k.
you charge stuff to your hotel room, and the folio credit takes care of $100 of it.
since my local cet casino doesn't have a hotel attached to it, I never used it. :(

Yes, the Folio credit is for diamond aspirations, which is like diamond lvl 2 and lvl 3.
The celebration dinner is a 1 time food credit you receive as soon as you hit diamond status.

You are right, you get one each year you reach diamond status.
I meant 1 time as in it's a single use coupon for $100 off a meal, as opposed to being a credit you can use at separate times like the folio.
