Tier bonus discussion, question

So I was up at Harrah's Cherokee on Sunday night.
Got permission from Sparkles, we were hanging out in a cabin with the boys half way there anyway.
Wanted to redeem some 'vouchers' that I usually just ignore, but was half way up there...

So played from 8:45 PM till midnight.
There was a 10,000 RC bonus if you 'earned' 1 RC between noon and 2100 (9:00 PM).
I will find out later, maybe, if that worked. Sometimes hard to tell....

Anyway, I played, won a bit right off the bat, not a lot maybe 1K?
Then started losing, took another marker or two trying to stay, or get back to even.
Got to just about where I wanted to be, several times. But I wanted a little more....

Midnight rolled around, another couple vouchers became effective at 12:01?
Played till 7:30 AM.
Lost
Ran out of energy, been awake over 24 hours, packing, driving, walking to and swimming in waterfalls.
I walked away, today, well actually yesterday and today, just weren't my days to win.

24 hours or so later, I get the email from TR.
Got a 5000 tier bonus for play on Sunday.
Another 24 hours, second email, 125 tier bonus for play on Monday.
What? Played twice as long, same bets, on Monday.
Is the cut-off not at midnight perhaps?
All this at same table, 10.5 hours total.

I am going to ask the same question to my host, not counting on any definative answers, but I will ask.

Anyone got any ideas why the weird descrepancy?
I'm relatively new to this so I would appreciate it if you didn't just laugh at me. But laugh if you will.

I can't speak for Harrah's Cherokee, but all the other CET properties I play (about 10 of them), the clock is 6am to 6am. So if Cherokee's the same, you logged all but 1 hour on Sunday, and that last 6am to 7am went to Monday.

That was what I suspected, but how do you know this stuff in advance? Read here maybe? Stayed an extra night recently cause I didn't know if 'free cash' was good at 12:01 or 0600 or 0800? Was good at 0200 when I tried, maybe would have been good at 12:01, I will have to try 12:05 soon ;-)
Don't get me started on reward credits, apparently that is a closely held internal secret at CET, at least for table play.

And Harrah's Cherokee is a Tribal Lands casino, operated in a partnership (10%?) with Harrah's/Ceasars so it is a little different from some/most of the other properties.

Read thru quite a few of the older threads on CET properties over the weekend, looking for understanding on the whole Total Rewards program. May start a new thread, maybe tomorrow, for members to deposit info/get info on how that beast works.

Just another mailer, earn 1RC between noon and 9:00 PM, earn 10,000 RC bonus, just a single day, Sun 8/02.
New type offer to me, had planned getting there about 10:00 PM. Decided to show up 1.5 hours earlier ;-)
Can't prove it worked, still have the mailer, guess I'll see though I may not be able to tell. How the hell do you tell?

Actually stopped by TR desk on way into casino. Showed mailer to lovely but uninterested lady. Asked, exactly what do I need to do in next 20 minutes to 'earn' a single RC. Response was, make a single $5 bet at the tables, you think you can do that? My response, I do believe I can find a place to make a bet in next 20 minutes, Thx.
Actually said to Pit and dealer as I sat down, I need this bet to be recorded prior to 9:00, has something to do with some weird promotion. Pit said, no problem.

I knew my RC walking in, but was a long night, and I bet like a possessed madman. There is a monthly statement available later (in Sept) online. Maybe it will show a 10,000 bonus. Maybe not. And I don't know how to figure ( don't know where to start to even estimate) the RC earned that day, without the Bonus.
I'm a mid-level Diamond "village idiot".
But I will go check TR acct now online. Maybe it will shed some light, 'cept I'm mostly blind ;-(

If you got a 5000 TC bonus then you earned between 2500 and 4999 RCs, less than $50 comps.

Tier Level jumped 10,000 over weekend, but Reward Credits barely moved, couple K maybe.
I will ask host why, let you know.

The kind you get in the mail and can stick directly in the slot machines?

Vouchers rec'd in my mailbox at my home.
Example: bring this voucher to the cashier to receive $100 free play / free cash, only valid on Sunday December 15 th or something. You show up at cashier window on Sun Dec 15, with mailed voucher, they will give you nice crisp $100 bill. No strings attached. There is quite a bit more to a story like that, even a true story, but that answers your question..

Go play with a 'players card', win or lose (maybe), they will send you a voucher or two. 2F

I know all the CET properties I play at regularly, Baltimore and AC. The casino day is 6am to 5:59 the next morning. So almost all your play got booked on Sunday and only and hours worth the next day I'm sure. I think it's pretty universal for CET casinos.

I think I learned about the unusual 6 am to 5:59 am stipulation on this website, I think it is buried SOMEWHERE on the Totalrewards.com site.
