My husband and I go to Vegas 1-2 times per year. We love double double bonus video poker. I have learned as much as possible about the 9/6 strategy, memorizing most of it and following it to the letter. My husband uses the strategy but often will go for the long shot hand because we are only in town for a few days. How would you modify your strategy if you only have the opportunity to play for a short time?

Not a bit. If I was able to play one more hand for the rest of my life, it would be using the correct strategy.

I played for over 40K hands on my Roku 4 app and lost nearly $6K playing $1.25/spin most of the time on Double Double Bonus Poker. I deleted the app. I'm moving on to Dragon Link slots.

Losing $6k over 40k hands is 12% loss rate (88% RTP).
9/6 DDB is 99% RTP.

Even if you didn't hit a Royal, you are way outside norm over that sample size.

Interesting that the app has you down that much down. Normally free apps veer towards your favor so you keep playing to make them ad money

I didn't pay for the play money they were offering. I figured my RTP was 92% from the stats I was given. But most of the time I was running 88% or so.

vp is very easy to determine rtp, usually by the full house and flush payouts.
ie: 9/6 ddb is 99%

As for Variance for 9/6 ddb:
1800 hands @ $2.50/spin
Range is -$45 +/- $700
