Single line bp is 21 var but triple play bp is 25 per play.
Always thought triple play had lower variance?

Or am I thinking lower var if it's the same $ amount?
Ie: $1 single line ($5/spin) vs .25 triple line ($3.75/spin) then triple play has lower var per play?
Craps is paradise (Pair of dice). Lets hear it for the SpeedCount Mathletes :)

Variance of triple play $1 denom is higher than single line $1 denom played three times. The total bet is $15 either way, to make this comparable.

With triple play, the variance is higher because a good hand on the deal propagates to all three hands, and a bad hand on the deal makes for three crummy hands.

When you play single line three times, you get three independent draws.

If you are playing single line $10 vp so $50 per spin or $1 ten play also $50 per spin the ten play will have lower variance , I’m not sure if this is what you’re asking
