Good evening fellow video poker players. I *love* shockwave video poker but can't find a decent pay table anywhere. I live by a Jackpot Joannie's, which is basically Dotty's with a different name.

When I'm feeling ploppy-ish, I'd go throw a few bucks at the shockwave VP machines there (The best paytable is only~97% payback). I noticed that when I hit a 4oak and entered the bonus round, I got $10 in free play.

Does anybody have any information about the slot club they are willing to share? I get a mailer with point multipliers and some minimal free play. I figured the hold is so high on those machines that they may be much more liberal with free play which may make AP possible. If I get a free play bonus on a predictable basis when I hit a 4oak, I could at least calculate my expected loss per hour if I do get the itch to play these laughably bad machines.

Let's keep it simple. You are going to give up a little over $15 per 4 of a kind and get back a $10 bonus. That's about -$5 in EV. I can't remember what their cash back is, but it's not much, perhaps it may be % .1

They do sometimes have weekly 4 of a kind drawings for Ipads and stuff.

In my experience, their mail sucks bad. Even if you somehow took advantage of everything and maximized everything I dont think you can make up enough for it to be worth your time.

They do have other bonuses and stuff on various games from time to time that are +EV, but it's not worth the time and money.

If I remember your history properly — you should definitely stay away from there. Go play something that’s +EV instead of -EV.
