Same as regular UX, but if you can get wheel spins as well which have up to 2,000 coins or 20X multipliers.
It's free through Sunday, after that it will be Gold only for a while.
Quote: GWAEWhat does it cost per game?
As an example the current contest is 5 play. For full coin and features you pay:
5 coins per hand for the basic game
5 coins per hand for the UX feature
1 coin per hand for the wheel feature
So a total of 55 coins for 5 play.
As mentioned, you can't play it unless you are gold on the regular games, but because it is the weekly contest you CAN play it on the contest page, (provided you are a member of course, and basic membership is free). That option will end at 11.59 PM on 7/15/18.
It's an OK game. I've never head much luck with UX anyway so it isn't something I'm likely to play for real. Getting good multipliers happens frequently, but I find that trying to get a high winning hand with them is slim to none.
Quote: GWAEmy local used to have a wheel game. I cant remember the particulars but it was something like if you got a dealt 3oak or maybe a 4oak then you got a wheel spin that would give you different things like 12 games with a dealt 3oak or 20 games with a dealt pair. I used to love the game but they got rid of it. I would love a game like that with ux. I am going to check out the contest.
Sounds like Wheel Poker Deluxe

There are some in downtown Vegas. As I recall there are 2 at the 4 Queens and I think they have them at Fremont or perhaps Binions as well.
Quote: GWAEso i went and played it and I do not like the game at all and would not play it. I like the other wheel game like I mentioned above. The one thing that I do not like about this game is I got a full house on my second hand. I did the spin and won 250 credits. However I did not get the 12x on the next hand. I guess the wheel cancels out your next multiplier. That doesnt seem right since you are paying the extra credit for the wheel.
That sounds more like a bug to me. You're paying full value for the UX. Then more to pay for the wheel. Spinning the wheel should not have canceled your next hand multiplier.
Gonna go look at it.
Edit:
Guess that was correct, not a bug. Pretty pricey on 5 play to lose those multipliers to a single wheel spon.

Depends on the average value of the wheel spin.

Ev wise it may not matter but play experience wise it does to me. Like I got 16x a bunch of times. So really only got 4x more. Seems like a lot of extra credits to pay for only 4x more.

Yep that's it. I like that game. It is exciting to get 10 games with all 3 aces.

Agree. Though I guess the worst you can do is get 14x per FH instead of 12x. So not as bad as it first looked.
Quote: GuyIncognitoJust found this game with 7/5 bonus (5 play), and wondering if anyone has any more info on the wheel weights. My shaky math tells me it's costing about 90 credits for one wheel spin, so you'd need to make that up on the bonus hand (above the 12x you'd get on normal UX), so unless you're winning the credits instead of the multipliers on the reg (I've spun the wheel maybe a dozen times, and no credit wins), it doesn't seem playable.
Isn't this game 7/6/5 when betting 10? Unfortunately vp.com claims it ranges from 96.92% to 99.52% for Bonus and it's very dependent on the wheel weighting.
Quote: GuyIncognitoThat's right; I didn't notice the weird paytables at first. Where on vp.com does it mention the return percentages?
When you play the game as a gold member you can change the paytable and see the payback percentage.

Quote: prozemaDoes the game force max bet to play abandoned multipliers?
All the spin offs of UX require max bet, afaik. I haven't seen this game in a casino yet though.

It does, yes.
Quote: rsactuaryThis is being run as the contest game of the day today. The wheel seems to be heavily weighted to the 20x multiplier.. I found it quite easy to hit.
They caught on to my add blocker trick. :-(

Not much data, but I'm thinking a wheel is worth 18Xish not counting the coin prizes (which I have yet to get BTW).

They are very rare... which makes sense... a 20x multiplier only gets used approximately half the time, and then it's typically 100 coins. (20 x 5 for a pair).
It seems to be pretty streaky too. I did well today, but more than once in the past I've had it drop incredibly fast.
