Same question, one more time, about Wolf Software

I think maybe a year or so ago I asked all you guys who I am sure are smarted than I am. I didn't get an answer. So consider this a bump.
I use Wolf Software and I love it. The guy up and quit on it and as far as I can tell if my hard drive crashes, I am screwed. This guy never left word to his customers what to do without him. He just seemed to disappear. Did he die? No one can even answer that question. I asked you guys, I asked Jean Scott, no one knows squat.
I'll try again. If I lose this functioning copy, I am going to be left with a copy that works in DEMO mode and that cannot be unlocked without a secret number. It will be useless.
Any ideas???
