In Bob Dancer's software, on multi-strike level 1 (9/6 JoB) says to hold a single A rather than a 4 flush (no high cards). See screenshot: imgur[dot]com/a/F7AUDdH
The Wizard ranks holding single A way lower than 4 flush.
What is the correct hold?

Multi Strike isn't the same as normal play. You want to try to get up higher for the bigger multipliers so you need to go for easier wins on the lower levels.

My question is what is the correct hold?
Bob Dancer's Multistrike software says hold single A. The Wizard's multistrike level 1 appendix for JoB 9/6 says 4 flush.

I just went and looked at that, and you're right that it does. Bob is a member here and if he sees this, I'm sure he'll answer for you. Be patient.

In the example I showed, it's 4 flush (no high cards) but 4 to an inside straight. So that's probably why it's a hold - there's +3 non flush cards that can make a straight in addition to flush draw.
I think I answered my own question, thanks!

The inside straight possibilities do not affect the correct play. They would make the ace by itself LESS attractive --- and it's still the best play.
If you want to compare WOO strategies to what is found on VPW, add 6 to each pay schedule level element for Level 1, 4 for each pay schedule element for Level 2x, 2 for each pay schedule element for Level 4x, and make no adjustment for Level 8x or Free Ride. This is not an exact method, but it's pretty close for those not choosing to purchase VPW.
That is, for 9/6 JoB Level 1x Multi Strike, enter into the WOO video poker strategy calculator 806, 56, 31, 15, 12, 10, 9, 8, 7, 0 instead of the typical 800, 50, 25, 9, 6, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0.
