I have been playing a lot of videopoker on my iPhone, for what I can call 'longterm'. Surprisingly I have always been much ahead. The software I refeer is the 'jCasino - Jackpot Casino Frenzy Gambler' and I have been playing their Joker Poker. I haven`t hit a Natural Royal Flush yet, but even then always plaing at max bet my results are awesome.
Here I post the payouts for the five coin bet:
Natural Royal Flush - 5000
Five of a Kind - 1500
Joker Royal Flush - 500
Straight Flush - 200
Four of a Kinda - 85
Full House - 35
Flush - 25
Straight - 15
Three of a Kinda - 10
Two pairs - 5
Kings or Better - 5
So, what do you think about it?

The best Joker Poker payout tables in live video poker return 100.7%. The returns are: RF--4000; 5K--1000; JRF--500; SF--250; 4K--100, and the remaining payouts the same as your game, above.
The increase in the RF is worth about +0.5%. The increase in the 5 of a Kind is worth about 1%. The decrease on the straight flush is worth (costs) about -0.7%. The crusher is the decrease in the 4 of a Kind payout, which costs almost -2.6%. The net effect is that this game is worse than the 100.7% version by 1.8%, so it's a 98.9% return game, which ranks it among the worst video poker games available.

Thank you so much for your help! I really imagined it was a lot better because of my results, but it`s a pitty the rank sucks, haha!

I agree with your math regarding the payout, but calling it one of the worst VP games available is a stretch. I think games at low denominations are all about this bad. 8/6 JOB is worse than 98.9%, and 8/5 is about 98%. Both of those games are pretty common in lower denominations. And, FWIW, here in MN all VP games (except progressives) must return less than 98%.

I realize what you're saying, but I pretty much lump all games paying less than 99.5% in the same garbage heap. That's because I'm spoiled--I only play in Nevada.
Minnesota has no good reason for limiting the payoffs on VP. What is their logic? Colorado has a similar restriction, forbidding payout schedules that return 100% or more. Again, what in the world for?
(Less than 98%, by the way, is GHASTLY.)

I think the payouts were limited to ensure that there would be a profit for the state to participate in. It turns out that there's a ridiculously huge profit at some of the MN casinos. Mystic Lake alone had revenues of between $300 and $600 Million last year, based on their charitable giving report which shows $36MM in gifts and a 5% targeted donation rate.
I should ask, since I'll be in NV in a month. I'd heard that it was hard even there to find good games at low stakes. If I'm looking at playing quarters, am I going to be able to easily find a machine returning 99.5%+? I was prepared not to find those machines, but you've given me hope. :-)

If you play on the Strip, yes, it will be hard to find decent .25 video poker. However, near the Strip, in places such as the Palms, Gold Coast, Orleans, and Palace Station, it's very easy to find 99.5%+ games, and even some over 100%. If you venture downtown, you can find many very good machines at Main St Station, California, El Cortez, and Fremont. Farther afield, the locals' casinos have the best video poker, such as Fiesta Henderson and Rancho, all the Stations casinos, the Suncoast and Rampart, South Point, etc.
Oh yes, I almost forgot about Ellis Island, which has great, inexpensive food as well as excellent VP.
In any of the casinos mentioned above, MOST of the VP will be garbage--but some of it will be excellent. Check VPFree2 for exact locations and details on the best machines.
