I have a $5000 bankroll for fpdw and I play a combination of 5c and 10c and I use my profits to pay my $800 in rent every month. Ive played about a million hands(combination of 5c and 10c) and Im about 6 sets of deuces above ev and about 3.4 royals above ev...but my bankroll is down to $3400..To make my rent I have to play 14,000hands of 5c, 7000hands of 10c or a combo of both everyday..I haven't been doing that obviously...so Im losing money because Im lazy and I need to play the required number of hands at the bare minimum or more? Im worried b/c since Im already losing money being above ev--I know Im gonna get killed if I start regressing to the mean.. On a scale from 1-10 how much trouble do u guys think Im in from going broke? tks.

Stop using your profits to pay your rent.Get a job and play dw after work part time. You can probably make more money walking around looking for credits left on machines than you can playing 10c fpdw.Read all the posts about vulturing UX.

Where do they have .5 and .10 FPDW? I 'm lot looking for or to play them, however I didn't know they had them anywhere anymore. Actually I can't remember ever seeing a FPDW .5, Stations had some .10

Aliante. I believe the low rent stations casinos also (Boulder, palace, fiestas) and maybe Sams Town.

Yeah you don't want to pay rent playing .05-.10 FPDW. It's like $2-$4/ hr and if you're not getting your fair share of royals you'll have months not making any $. ANY job would pay better and be less stressful. FPDW isn't a way to make a living or survive since there's only one or two places in existence where it could be played for over $10/hr (as far as I know), but it can be a good hobby that doesn't cost anything and makes a small amount of money if you enjoy it. If you had a job you could pay rent money and hopefully save up a little more with that and play 0.25 FPDW with your $5000.

In your current position Hunterhills suggestion and trying to come across any $5-$10 match plays, coupons, low roller promotions etc when you can find them are going to lower your swings and probably make more $.

10!

. . . I use my profits to pay my $800 in rent every month.

Nice. We know what you spend your profits on. What will you spend your losses on? A cardboard box to live in?

I think of it more as purgatory. Assuming inflation doesn't take into effect, he always earns his EV in a form of wins every month, no health issues, etc.

You could do decent playing a higher denomination FPDW. Unfortunately they are pretty rare and few in between. In order to earn $30/hr you would have to play at a 0.76% advantage you would have to earn 3.75c/hand over 800 hands, or $5/hand. This means you would have to play 10 dime machines at once (impossible), 4 quarter machines (impossible), 2 50c machines (doable), or find a $1 machine.

This is also assuming perfect play.

I did find a quarter NSUD game that MIGHT have 1% cashback, which is pretty much like playing FPDW, but the place also sends mailers. This is probably a better option as you get the cash back no matter how good/bad you run.
