I play VP on my ipad; i have 3 main apps.
The one i use the most is Jacks or Better with Double Up by Boris Privalov because its the only one where you can bet more than 5 coins.
Are these apps exactly the same as the casino machines? I don't mean the paytables but the odds and what hands you get, the difficulty etc.

I checked the app info and it doesn't say anything about the RNG. Ive also emailed the developer and he's never answered.
But if it weren't like the casino machines, how could you tell the difference? You would win more? Get more winning hands?
So far I've played 15,786 hands and I've gotten 13 straight flushes, 49 4 of a kinds, 158 full houses, 257 straights but not one Royal.

What you are expected to end up with changes based on your strategy, which should change based on the game you're playing.
If you're playing JoB simple strategy, you'd expect about 2 straight flushes, 37 4oaks, 181 FH's, 168 straights.
Calculate that by looking at a paytable/strategy analysis and multiplying the probability by the number of hands played.
May the cards fall in your favor.
