How to play this hand?

Hi,
I've been practicing Double Bonus on the Wizard of Odds site and it dealt me this hand:
Qh, Qd, Ad, 10h, Jh
I held the High Pair of 2Q's but the analyzer said this wasn't the best move and to hold the 3 to the RF....I checked with the DB basic strategy guide on WOO and High Pair is before 3RF - is this a bug in the software or a more advanced play?

Advanced play. It's most likely an exception to the rule. Not all 3 Card royals are created equally.

You can look at it with the Hand Analyzer:

The correct hold is the Three-to-a-Royal. In addition to the Royal probability, (same as any other Three-Card hold) the Flush probability (same) the Straight probability (You're tossing a straight penalty card, but that doesn't seem to make a difference in this case, and you have more ways to a straight both ways anyway because it is open on both sides)...you also have two ways to make a Straight Flush 8-9-10-J-Q and 9-10-J-Q-K, I imagine that is where the difference is coming from.

KQJ suited and QJT suited > KK-JJ in 10/7/5, 9/7/5 Double Bonus. The flush and straight possibilities with high payouts for those hands makes even QJT suited better than a high pair.
And yeah, that should be updated in the Wizard's basic strategy. He has the correct exceptions in the 10/6, 9/6 DDB strategy.

Sorry for the late arrival.
I just updated my simple strategy page to note that there are exceptions to three to a royal vs. a pair of face cards. 10-7 double bonus is a complicated strategy. You should use this page for something simple and this one for something powerful.
